Professional Profile
Background and Approach

Tax is rarely just about numbers. It is about understanding the bigger picture -your business, your goals, your family, and the decisions that need to be made today to create better outcomes tomorrow.
Â
I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant with more than a decade of experience in accounting and taxation, with a particular focus on Canadian corporate tax, reorganizations and tax planning. I’ve worked alongside business owners, lawyers and other professionals on matters ranging from compliance and advisory to more complex tax planning and restructuring.

My approach is straightforward: Realistic. Reliable. Reasonable. Real.
I believe good tax advice should be technically sound without being unnecessarily complicated. It should be practical enough to implement, transparent enough to understand, and tailored to the person or business sitting across the table.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I take the time to understand why something is being done before determining how it should be done. Sometimes the best advice is a sophisticated tax strategy. Sometimes it is simply making sure the fundamentals are right.

My goal is not to make tax more complicated. It is to make it make sense.
